The Chester Rod & Gun Club, located at 4137 VT Route 11 West in Chester, Vermont, (five miles west of the center of Chester on VT Route 11 West).

Offering Skeet, Trap, Trap Doubles, and Handicap Trap year round on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 PM. Trap and skeet fees are $4/round.

Skeet and Trap are open seasonally (May through October) on Tuesday's & Thursday's starting at 3 pm.

We also have a 25 and 50 yard firearm range and a dedicated 100 yard rifle range. The 100 yard range is not available while the skeet and trap ranges are in use. Please use paper targets only at our ranges. Shoot from the bench or next to it.

Membership is open to the Public, you are required to be a Member to use the Club's ranges and facilities.

Membership is $40/person per year, available at the clubhouse or Chester Hardware Store.

Please plan to bring all of your own gear; we do not rent firearms, sell ammunition, or provide safety glasses or ear protection. Professional shooting instructors are not provided by the club.

Throughout the year there are special events for all ages including Fun Shoots and a Fishing Derby in the spring for the younger crowd. Hunter Safety Courses also conducted here.
